Paint an Abstract Landscape / Finger Painting For Mindfulness

This bright, sunny, abstract landscape painting is a timely reminder that the warmer weather will always come back again, you just need the patience to wait for it!

In this video, I use a method of applying many layers of paint, then later removing them, revealing the bright colours that are still there underneath. Don't worry, I never waste the paint I remove! I either save it to re-apply later, or use it in another painting or creative project.

I painted this on a 5x7 inch, double gesso primed canvas board, using the following acrylic paints (in order of application in the video): Winsor & Newton Galeria: Cerulean Blue Hue; Daler Rowney Graduate: Coeruleum Blue, Permanent Rose, Titanium White, Primary Yellow, Leaf Green and Phthalo Turquoise.
