Why do things go wrong for some Christian homeschoolers? It's not a guarantee!

So many homeschool moms and dads chose this path because they want to be the main influence in their child's education! For Christian parents, we want to instill Christian values rather than secular values in our children. We want to be counter-cultural. We want to build up disciples for Christ! So, then why do things still go wrong? Why do some "Christian homeschoolers" still go astray? They were raised in a Christian home. They were regular taken to church. I can't blame the modern education system this time. So what went wrong?
