Nissan Micra 2014 K13 Rear Brakes replacement

Disclaimer: I am not a mechanic! Please make sure you only do repairs on your car or Motorbike if you are confident enough to do it. Specially with Brakes!

I did not buy Nissan parts. The brake shoes and adjusters cost £50 from eBay. I did read the reviews on the site where I bought my parts from ...
This is a minimum £300 job at a local garage (London, UK) with parts included. Much More if at a Nissan garage!
I've never done this, by myself. Looked up a few YouTube videos too "get me in the mood" :)
I was VERY careful with the all process - I use to think of it as a VERY difficult job just to find it very straight forward. Ahhhh Very important: in my case the adjusters were marked Left & Right!
The fine adjustment of the Parking Brake (Emergency brake U.S.A),(using the inner adjusters), was very "touch and go" although I got there in the end :)
"Off camera" I resprayed the drums. The underbody sealant doesn't dry out completely. I've used some VHT paint which hardened the sealant and gave it an extra layer anti rust :)

The engine bay was sprayed with Wheel Cleaner (Halfords) - that's all I had as a degreaser. If using this type of cleaner do not allow it to stay on aluminium engines for too long as it will stain the aluminium, react and becomes corrosive.
Then washed by hand using a sponge and soapy water. Finally I used a hand spray gun to rinse followed by an air gun spray to dry out any humidity - electronics do not like Water!. You should only wash your engine when cold to avoid it to steam out ( bad for electronics).
