After finishing our Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, our friend Kabi wanted to give us a better understanding of the Nepali culture, religion and way of life. Myself, ‪@kayyywild‬ and ‪@BackpackwithJo‬ were shown around a Buddhist monastery, took part in a ritual at a Hindu temple and ended the day by celebrating Teej Festival with the Nepali women in a small village in the foot hills of Pokhara, Nepal. Overall it was a very interesting and inciteful day, which felt very special as not many tourist's get to experience things like this in Nepal.
