A personal guitar tribute to "We Gotta Get Out of This Place" by The Animals
The song was written by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil and released in 1965 as a single by the band
It became one of The Animals’ signature songs, reaching No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and later became an anthem for American soldiers during the Vietnam War. In this video, I replaced the original guitar part with my own, with some extra distortion.
