Trains Flying Past Railroad Crossing At Flood Wall In Ironton, Ohio. Norfolk Southern Trains With DPU Locomotives Working Hard & Radar Speed Check On 4th Train. 5 Trains & River Barges Turning Around On The Ohio River. Engineer Gives Wave, A Couple Of Horn Salutes & Intermodal Train With 2 DPU Locomotives Roaring Past The Ironton Train Station And Flood Wall Railroad Crossing.
I stopped at Lucasville, Ohio to get some train but it was a little slow. See that video which I posted a couple days before this one. It is Part 1. I decided to go to Ironton, Ohio to wait for trains next to the Ohio River and a CSX line is right across the river. I did see a CSX coal train across the river but it was too far to film. You will see a barge turning around in this video. That was pretty cool!
There are 5 trains speeding past the crossing in this video. Check out the first train which is an intermodal with 2 DPUs in the middle. That was pretty awesome. These trains were all filmed at the same spot but with different angles and both sides of the tracks.
Which train is your favourite and should I return here for more live action? I think this is a pretty cool spot. This is the same place where I filmed a speeding coal train that had coal dust flying all over the place and made it hard to see. You need to see that video. It is called "This Is What Happens When You Stand Too Close To A Coal Train On A Windy Day". I had to take 3 showers to get all the coal dust out of my hair and off my arms. Lol
