Castle Howard Campsite & Gardens | 1 Night Stay in North Yorkshire 🏕️🌿

We spent one night at the Castle Howard campsite, set right within the stunning grounds of the Castle Howard estate — and it was such a lovely stopover! The site is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by countryside views.

There’s a small shop in reception selling beers, wines, and snacks (a little pricey but handy!), plus clean shower blocks with hairdryers, a wash room for dishes, and laundry facilities — everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Staying here also gives you a discount to visit Castle Howard, which we definitely made the most of! The house and gardens were absolutely incredible — full of history, grand architecture, lakes, and beautiful walking paths.

If you’re looking for a quiet, well-kept site with a touch of history ,Castle Howard is definitely worth a visit. 🌿✨
