During the creation of UNITY, legendary CEO of Wreckshop Records, Derrick "D-Reck" Dixon, brings his 20+ years of experience in the rap game as he partners with DJ XO to unite the city of Houston's hip-hop music scene. The process in creating this collaborative Southern Hip Hop record was documented in a web series titled "Sound of the City" which can be found on YouTube. 'Sound of the City' gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to successfully produce, create, and promote (break) an album by following the creation of this collaborative new project titled 'Unity, Volume 1'.
