How to make Pizza Cobbler

Ground Beef, Sweet Italian Sausage, Pepperoni and onions in a red sauce, topped with a pizza crust like topping.
Ingredients
Preheat the oven to 350 F and you will need a 9x13 casserole baking dish.
Filling:
1 pound of ground meat Beef/Pork/Sausage/Chicken/Turkey or combination of. I used ½ lean beef and ½ sweet pork sausage.
12-15 slices of Pepperoni cut into quarters
1 small onion, diced
½ cup fresh or canned mushrooms (Optional)
2 cups of your favorite red sauce/pizza sauce
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ -1 teaspoon of dried oregano
2 cups shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Topping:
1 cup all-purpose-flour
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup Parmesan Cheese
Cooking Instructions:
Filling: Over medium high heat bring a large frying pan to heat. Add the ground meat and sauté till browned, about 5-10 minutes depending on the type of ground meat used. Add the pepperoni, onions and mushrooms, salt & pepper to taste and continue to sauté over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the red sauce, stirring to coat and warm through. Add the filling to a 9/13 (Or 9/12) baking dish, spread evenly and set aside.
Topping: In a large bowl add the all-purpose-flour, milk, eggs, olive oil and salt, using a whisk, whisk till the batter is smooth.
Sprinkle the Mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the filling, sprinkle the oregano and garlic powder evenly over the Mozzarella cheese then slowly and evenly pour the batter over the top of the Mozzarella cheese, evenly sprinkle the Parmigiano over the top of the batter.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown. For easier serving, allow to cool for ten minutes.
Serves: 6-8
