In honor of the 177th anniversary of the fall of The Alamo today, March 6th, I made this video using Marty Robin's song Ballad of The Alamo and the 2008 version of the movie. Technically, considering the inaccuracies in the song I probably should've used John Wayne's movie but this movie is alot better and alot more accurate. I took some liberties like it's Jim Bowie that Sam Houston is "sending" to The Alamo not Travis, but as I said the accuracy is with the movie. In addition, I'd like to say that this is probably the video I've made that I'm most proud of. Because you know what? It means something. These are real events and real people portrayed here. God Bless Texas and God Bless these men who fought to give us our freedom.
In the process of making this video I discovered that apparently this movie was not very well received and all I can say to that is "What movie were you watching?" Because this movie was EPIC! And Dennis Quaid as Sam Houston was brilliant!
