Talk by Dr Susan Cartwright
When we create particles in the laboratory, for example in the Large Hadron Collider, they always come as particle-antiparticle pairs. But when we look out into the cosmos, we see a Universe made almost entirely of matter, with only tiny traces of antimatter in cosmic rays. Where did all the antimatter go? Assuming that it annihilated with matter, why didn’t it take all the matter with it? And what do neutrinos have to do with this problem?
