R211As have officially started service out of Coney Island Yard! 3415-3419 entered service on the G today, 5/31/25. This video is the FIRST Church Av bound R211A G trip.
It is expected that the G will be filled with R211’s first, then the B—though they may show up on the B before the G is completely R211. As Coney Island Yard gets more R211As, we will likely also see them appear on the N and Q lines on weekends as the B does not run on weekends.
Once the B & G have enough cars, they will begin sending new sets to Concourse Yard for the D line. All remaining future sets *AFTER* CONCOURSE YARD IS FULL will be sent to Coney Island Yard (yes, that includes Option Order 2).
