Grizzly 100 Pre-Ride Part 3: Skyline Trail from Pirates to Grand View | Big Bear Lake, California

The Grizzly 100 is coming up on September 25th, 2021. It’s a 100 km endurance mountain biking race in Big Bear Lake, California, using pretty much all of the best trails in the area. There are also 30 km, 50 km, and 75 km race distances open to everyone who wants to participate. Learn more and register here: https://bbvrace.com

This trail in the video is the famous Skyline Trail. This segment goes from Pirates and Grand View Point, which will be new to riders who have only raced Skyline in the other direction. It’s an amazingly well-built single-track that dreams are made of. You’re mostly climbing here, but the flow makes it feel effortless. It’ll be part of all race distances, 30km, 50km, 75km, and 100km. For those doing the longer distance, it’ll be after climbing Radford AND climbing 2N10. So it might not feel as effortless as I advertise, but we’ll see.
