Come along as I cook a birthday supper for the girls. They turned 26! Not sure how I got old enough to have kids that old. They ask for Pumpkin Roll and Chess Cake for dessert. For the meal we had canned deer meat, roasted green beans, biscuits, and roasted new potatoes straight from our garden. The beans came from our garden too-and the blackberry jelly. Matt harvested the deer. We love eating off the land when we can here in the mountains of Appalachia.
