8 Games Like Serious Sam

A game that I would consider to be like Serious Sam typically involves the following: Walk into an arena, enemies spawn in, kill everything, find resources and rinse and repeat. Occasionally you'll find enemies in fixed locations, but most of the time, you'll be fighting them in arenas that typically lock you into said arena, until all enemies are killed. They're also fast-paced and linear/relatively linear.

Some other things to note:
I played all of these games on their respective Hard difficulty.
I played all of these games via Mission Select or New Game+. So you might see some weapons in levels you wouldn't normally see on a first playthrough.
If there's a game that fits this category, but I don't show it here, it's either because I haven't heard of it, haven't played it, am not sure if it fits said category or can't recommend it. For instance, I haven't played Dreamkiller or Will Rock. Whereas, I've played Painkiller: Resurrection, but it's bad. So if you have a recommendation or more, post a comment.
