A farmer named Farooq Inamdar in Pune has successfully grown Miyazaki mangoes, among other exotic varieties, on his farm.
He imported saplings after being inspired by the variety of mangoes he saw during a pilgrimage to Hajj.
His Miyazaki mangoes are priced at around Rs 1.5 lakh per kilo in India, according to NDTV.
