Spirit of Christmas, Dachshunds, Giveaway Fun & Building Resilience (My Week's Highlights)

This week I've been keeping up with the usual routines with the dogs and horses, and picked up some handy tricks for managing mud fever. I also found myself reflecting on how past challenges have really helped me build resilience and a more positive outlook.

I thought I’d share a little about our dachshunds as they’re such a big part of our lives. Florence and Penny are mother and daughter, and they always seem to know when I’m getting ready to head out, eager to follow along—even if they’ve already had a walk that day!

I had such a lovely time at the Spirit of Christmas event, meeting some fantastic people from the Ask Charlie community and chatting with the most inspiring stallholders. Jam Industries was there with beautifully made, coastal-inspired clothing that felt both classic and fresh, Bridie & Bert showcased simple, beautifully crafted and super-soft towelling and cotton pieces, and my new discovery 46 Stitch offered limited-edition women’s fashion and homewares, all thoughtfully made in super high quality with a unique touch. The whole fair was filled to the brim with wonderful wares and I hugely recommend visiting if you're in London this weekend.

Augustine Jewels was also there, showcasing their New York Collection, and I couldn’t resist trying on a few of their stunning pieces and picking up a little Christmas treat for myself...

Lastly, I attended the book launch for New English Interiors by Lizzie Metcalfe. The book is packed with beautiful, lived-in English style homes and I'm going to adore flicking through it this weekend.
