We start with the design of a pentagram and the double the number of sides. We will use a ruler and straight edge to form the basic design. Then, we will learn how to add some thickness to the shape as well as create the look of weaving (interlaced). A unicursal shape can be traded without lifting your pencil, like the figure 8.
