One of the Gospel readings during Christmas is the narrative of the appearance of the Angels to the Shepherds giving them the good news of the New Born Baby in Bethlehem. The shepherds were among the first and few witnesses of the Birth of the Divine Messiah; we should learn from their life's example. Our hearts must become like the shepherds' hearts so that our Lord Jesus be born in us.
