The Struggles of Crossing the Border by Road: A Cautionary Tale

In this video, I will share our experience and the struggles we faced while attempting to cross the border by road. If you are planning to travel to any country by road, there is one crucial point you must keep in mind: make sure you have a Transit Visa. This is something we learned the hard way.

We set out on our journey with the belief that, as UAE residents, we were exempt from visa requirements and could simply drive across the border without any issues. However, we were wrong. Upon reaching the border, the authorities informed us that we needed a valid visa, which we did not have. To make matters worse, there was no option for a visa on arrival at the border.

We spent a significant amount of time at the border, trying to resolve the issue, but unfortunately, the situation was not in our favor. After hours of waiting, we were ultimately sent back to Kazakhstan without being allowed to cross. This experience taught us an important lesson about the importance of proper documentation when traveling, especially when crossing borders by road.
