We took the recommended 6 days to complete the track which also gave us time to explore some of the side trails enroute. The itinerary of what we covered each day:
Day 4:
Pelion to Kia Ora 8.6km
Mt Ossa: 1617m 5.2km return
Day 5:
Kia Ora to Windy Ridge 9.6km
D'Alton, Fergusson & Hartnett falls: approx.2.5km return
Day 6:
Windy Ridge to Narcissus 9km
