'91 ACTY PAINT REVEAL! + (A Last-Minute Twist)

It’s finally happening — paint is going on my 1991 Honda Acty, and I’m here to see it in person for the first time! After weeks of prep work, rust removal, tearing everything out, and delivering the seats to the trim shop, the transformation is officially underway.

In this video, I visit the paint shop to check on the body prep, see the base coat on the van, and make a big decision: Should we break up the color with a stripe? The shop suggests adding contrast to elevate the look, and now I have to decide if I want to stick with the original plan or go bold with something unexpected.

This is a key moment in the full mini truck restoration — because once the paint goes on, there’s no turning back. Upholstery, trim, bumpers, and interior work all depend on this step.
