🎧 About This Episode
In Episode 18, I interview Ms. Zhang,
a school founder whose career path moved from law → finance → entrepreneurship in Chinese education.
Ms. Zhang graduated from the Law School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and initially worked in the financial industry. After the pandemic, she moved to Vietnam for work and life. During this period, she became keenly aware of the strong and growing demand for Chinese learning among Vietnamese learners.
Together with local Vietnamese language teachers, she co-founded a Chinese language training center.
Today, she runs two offline Chinese training schools in Hanoi and works with partner institutions in Ho Chi Minh City.
Her institutions focus on:
Chinese language training
Study-in-China program support
Recruitment and talent services for Chinese-funded enterprises
This episode explores career transitions, working as a Chinese teacher in Southeast Asia, income expectations, personal branding, and the future of international Chinese education.
