A first person tour down Lower Leaping Lizard Mountain Bike trail in Makara Peak, Wellington, New Zealand.
Filmed in 4K on a Gopro Hero 7.
One of the widest, but least maintained tracks on Makara Peak. Lower Leaping Lizard is fast, open and full of deep ruts and loose rocks. It can be accessed via Upper Leaping Lizard and ridden out back to the summit via the challenging Possim Bait Line or via Bailout to the carpark for an easier alternative. Suitable for Advanced riders, but may be accessable for Intermediate riders at a lower speed.
