The Acabion GTBO represents one of automotive history's most ambitious projects. Unveiled at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, this Swiss-engineered streamliner promised 372 mph top speeds while consuming just 2.5 liters per 100 kilometers. Dr. Peter Maskus spent 18 years developing this tandem-seat carbon fiber rocket, achieving over 2000 horsepower per ton through a turbocharged Suzuki Hayabusa engine. With a 0.18 drag coefficient, F1-inspired safety systems, and a $1.6 million price tag, only 26 units were planned for production. Discover why this extreme aerodynamic masterpiece never reached customers.
