We finally get to explore some of northern Vietnam, starting in Ninh Binh! Ninh Binh is sometimes referred to as the "inland Halong Bay" and we completely agree! Though there are still plenty of tourists, it felt less crowded than the other places we had been so far in Vietnam. We started exploring the area of Ninh Binh by renting our first motorbike in Vietnam and exploring Bai Dinh Pagoda followed by exploring on the river in Trang An! We would 100% recommend all visitors to spend a few days in the Ninh Binh area on their next trip to Vietnam!
