The CPAWS Nova Scotia team was lucky to get out and explore Blue Mountain-Birch Cove Lakes after a fresh snowfall. We captured a beautiful view over the snowy islands at Susies Lake with our drone and warmed up on a nice hot drink!
Blue Mountain-Birch Cove Lakes is a stunning near-urban wilderness area only 15 minutes from downtown Halifax. CPAWS Nova Scotia has worked for nearly 20 years to secure protection for the forests, lakes, and habitat for species at risk at this site.
