The west side has the most sandy beaches in Corfu, and arguably the best beaches in Corfu. There are still some rocky beaches though. These amazing beaches bring in more tourists, so expect more crowds on the west side. It's also where some of the larger hotels and resorts are.
Cape Drastis is a place of stunning natural beauty, featuring dramatic cliffs, rugged coastlines, and turquoise waters. The area's unique geology has created a series of rock formations that jut out into the sea, providing visitors with incredible panoramic views.
Kontogialos Beach (also known as Pelekas Beach) is a seashore on the island's western coast. It is a soft, sand-filled shore with clear blue waters, while its beautiful shallow seabed makes it a prime destination for every swimmer!
