The two Region 18 Jazz Bands perform at the Austin High School Performing Arts Center Auditorium in Austin, Texas, on November 15, 2022. Each student auditioned to earn a place in one ensemble, with the chance to advance further to the TMEA All-State Jazz Ensembles. They prepared this concert with 8 hours of sectionals and full rehearsals over 3 days.

Directors of the ensembles were Dr. Utah Hamrick (Texas State University) and Dr. Diego Rivera (University of Texas at Austin). Chair of Region 18 Jazz was Ponder East.

Student performers represent the following central Texas school districts: Austin ISD, Bastrop ISD, Dripping Springs ISD, and Hays CISD.
