The Incredibles GameCube 100% Playthrough Part 12 [Finding Mr. Incredible]

Tracking Mr. Incredible through a homing device on his new suit (courtesy of Edna Mode) and realizing he’s been captured, Helen infiltrates Nomanisan Island to save her husband.

This is the second to last level for Elastigirl if you don’t count the Battle Mode. This level and the next few serve as a bit of a decent change of pace from Mr. Incredible’s gameplay. I like the set-piece at the start of the level, and the platforming is decent.

Admittedly, the guys with electrical shields add some level of more variety, but they only show up for this level and her last level, I think it'd add a little something if Mr. Incredible had to throw an enemy at a shielded guy to progress.

I like the music track in this level, it’s like a game rendition of the scene in the film where Elastigirl first enters the base, which makes sense given that Michael Giacchino did the OST for this game so a couple of the tracks sound pretty similar to the movie’s score.

Sometimes the movie clips in this game play at some weird times, like how Helen talking to Snug on the phone happens before the Syndrome’s Base level since Bob hadn’t been captured yet or the scene of Syndrome leaving the island via a jet to move forward with Operation Kronos after Violet’s solo-level later, a little bizarre.
