The Dummy / Horror Short Film

Ventriloquist dummies have been a big part of my film life for the past six years, the biggest attribute being Simon. When I got him 4 years ago I immediately knew I had to make something with him. But what I made, although it had horror elements, Simon himself was never made to be a threat. Even in his backstory, he was more of a sidekick to the infamous Eleanor Swan. So I wanted to flip the script a little bit and place Simon in an alternate universe where he very much is a threat. A universe where there never was a Alex, Teresa, and definitely no Edna Swan, Only Simon……..well…………. Yeah…….only Simon…..Tee Hee.
