Stamford Park Parkrun (POV) - The Run - Event 461 - 13/12/2025
My second run at this parkrun event finishing in 59th place with a time of 28m51s.
Another quieter event in Stalybridge between Oldham and Stockport, featuring some inclines and steps. Terrain is majority trail paths with a small section of tarmac paths in various places and on the main road at the bottom end of the boating lake.
The course is undulating throughout. At this time of year expect mud, leaves and puddles across the course making it slippy underfoot in places. Trail shoes recommended.
This is described as a two small lap course with an out section and small return section past the boating lake and a sprint past the car park to the finish line.
Note, there is free parking for 2hours, toilet facilities in the main park and a cafe.
