If you own a classic Mustang, replacing the trunk weatherstrip is inevitable as the rubber dries and cracks over time. Scott Drake’s open-cell sponge extrusion matches the original design and creates a tight seal to prevent leaks. Installation is straightforward but removing the old weatherstrip thoroughly is crucial for a proper fit. For best results, remove the trunk lid, apply 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive, and let it set for 24 hours.
