Join us as we explore one of Norfolk's hidden treasures on a quiet winter's day. Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens offered us something truly special - a chance to connect with amazing creatures in almost complete solitude. With the gardens practically to ourselves, we experienced these magnificent animals in a way few get to.

Our journey began with the leopards, their powerful presence made even more magical without crowds or noise, we could observe their natural behaviors undisturbed.

Moving through the elevated walkways, we discovered the playful world of the monkeys. Their acrobatic displays felt like a private show, with no need to jostle for viewing positions or strain to see past other visitors. The otters, too, were a joy to watch with only the two of us in sight.

In the tropical house, we found ourselves in a peaceful encounter with crocodiles, the silence broken only by the gentle splashing of water. Exotic birds called from above, their songs echoing through the empty pathways. The small cats watched us with intense interest - a rare chance to see these usually shy creatures without the usual distractions of a busy day.
