Is the FRM Worth It?

I get asked a lot about the FRM (financial risk management) by GARP. Some common questions:

Will it make me a quant? No it will not as it isn't a technical exam.

Will it help me find a job? Not really. I have only found one job opening who required it. I don't even consider it when hiring quants however it could help for a business focused risk position (like enterprise risk management).
