RS057 Tech Support: A tiny place I call home(studio)

As with every passion, there are the people that take it to the absolute extreme. So logically, in the synth world there are some truly marvelous home-studios stuffed to the brim with expensive gear, thousands invested in acoustics alone.

But this video sadly isn’t about one of these home-studios, but about my new place. I went from microscopic to tiny and even tiny, I realized at one point, does take a lot of work and time. So I thought why not share what I came up with you you guys.

If you’ve followed this channel for some time you probably already know what to expect. I like to keep my hobby cheap and my new synth room is a very clear expression of this mantra. I built a lot of stuff myself and while it sure looks pretty low spec and ugly (like most of the machines I feature on this channel), it’s the resulting sound that counts for me. I’ve already spent quite a few hours in my new room and most of my planning payed off pretty well. I can can connect stuff in no time and dawlessly jam like a big boy. Whenever something interesting comes out of it, I can start recording and/or arranging the jam out into a full track.
