📍 Dhankar Monastery, perched at 12,774 ft, once served as the capital of the Spiti kingdom in the 17th century. Built dramatically on the edge of a rocky cliff, it offers jaw-dropping views of the confluence of the Spiti and Pin rivers. It's a monastery, a fortress, and a living monument — all in one.
