Gaffel Kölsch & Cola

When I landed in Düsseldorf I stopped by the small grocery store inside the airport and picked up a few beers. Gaffel Kölsch & Cola from Privatbraueri Gaffel Becker is one of the beverages I picked up. Gaffel Kölsch & Cola is a 1.9%abv mix of 60% caffeinated cola and 40% Gaffel Kölsch. This beverages poured out like a cola would with a head an appearance similar to a cola. As soon as I popped the can open I was greeted with a cola like scent. Bringing the iconic plastic cup to my nose I picked up a cola scent along with a light lemony note. Gaffel Kölsch & Cola was cola like in the mouth feel and tasted like a generic or store brand cola. I did not pick up any real beer flavors at all. This was a unique beverage to me as an American and I quite enjoyed it. I forgot to rate it in the video, but I give it a Big Horns Up!!
