Sunday morning, November 3, 2019.
On our return trip from Boston to home, aboard Amtrak #65, the Northeast Regional, we engage in a short race with a CSX mixed freight just south of Fredericksburg and north of Ashland Virginia. Fall colors were a poppin' with the sunrise.
At the end of the video, the conductor politely asked me to come back into the main part of the car. (Yes, I was standing in the walkway at the rear of the car. Strictly a no-no while the train was moving.)
We arrive on time in Newport News, VA later that morning.
