http://www.scoutpatchcollectors.com John Smilek is writing a reference book documenting the 100 year history of merit badge pamphlets published by the Boy Scouts of America. Together with Scott Wheeler, Ron Oslin and other collaborators he is meticulously cataloging every printing, type set and variation. In this video John sits down with me to explain the major type sets within a BSA pamphlet collection. At the end of the video I include still photos of each one including the Shooting Star weather and a library bound copy. This video is a companion to the audio heard in Episode #87 of my Scouting Hot Finds Radio podcast.
