Each year, the Phoenix Police Foundation hosts the Women In Blue event banquet. This inspiring gathering honors the dedication, leadership and impact of the women who serve and protect our community. The "Elevating Women in Law Enforcement" award nominee is a Phoenix Police Department employee who has promoted women in law enforcement through exceptional job performance or community involvement. This year the Award was presented to Commander Julie Egea.
