Jaswant Singh Khalra a Human Rights activists who unfolded the police brutality of Punjab Police how they have butchered the innocent around 2200 youth in late eighties in Punjab later cremated their bodies unceremoniously.
Panicked Punjab Police abducted Mr. Jaswant Singh Khalra for publishing the wrong doings of Punjab police which inhumanly killed youth in Punjab. Police after killing the youth cremated their bodies unceremoniously by declaring them unidentified.
On the basis of report prepared by the Jaswant Singh Khalra the Supreme Court of India ordered CBI enquiry which also probed the killing of Khalra, whereupon seven police officers were booked and convicted by the CBI court Patiala. No relief was extended to all the accused in the Supreme Court of India.
Famous film producer Mr. Honey Tehran made a film with the help of Punjabi Singer Diljit Dosanjh tried to depict the inhuman killing of Jaswant Singh Khalra whose body was even not handed over to the family, was thrown to the river even no last rites were performed.
