This video is a compilation of photographs taken in Orange Beach, Alabama, after Hurricane Sally made landfall in the early morning hours of Wednesday, September 16, 2020. The photos show the devastation and then the recovery efforts that took place immediately after the storm. Orange Beach will never be the same, but as the flooding receded a new flood of hope, resilience and community strength surged through our city, spilling over to surrounding communities.
