New York Cops Toss Grandfather’s Belongings, Then Tackle Him — $30M Lawsuit

In my coverage of the Tyrone Phifer case, I made an error when I listed Sgt. Imondi’s first name. The correct name is Sgt. Daniel Imondi of the Nassau County Police Department. I take this mistake seriously because accuracy is the foundation of what I do. I have corrected the Wall of Shame and I have also updated the pinned comment and the video description so that all names are now accurate. The officers named in this case are Sgt. Daniel Imondi, Officer Patrick McGrath, Officer Quinn R. Knauer, Officer Richard J. Fosbeck, and Commissioner Patrick J. Ryder.
