What is up YouTube my name is Gio and I have never seen Cowboy Bebop. Yeah, as someone who has referenced anime more than a few times on this channel, it may be surprising that I haven’t seen this iconic show. So I decided to watch the Netflix adaptation first. I figured this was a rare opportunity to watch an adaptation with no prior bias, to see if this new take can stand on it’s own two feet. Well after watching the entire season I think I can safely say that it is BAD. Yeah even without watching the original anime, this was pretty bad. It was at this point I got very curious about the original anime. So I played the first episode, and dear lord, they butchered this show. After seeing how badly Netflix missed the mark, I couldn’t resist making a video to figure out what went wrong. So sit back as I try to explain Why Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop Doesn’t Work.
