Carl the worm isn’t sure why he eats dirt all day. His job doesn’t seem important or especially exciting. Then one day he stops doing his job as he sets out to learn why he does what he does. As time goes on, the landscape changes and becomes hardened and dead, all because he stopped doing his job.
This book is a lovely reminder that no job is too small and any impact makes a difference.
