Spinning with a Babe Double Treadle Wheel: Part 1, The Basics - Tutorial - Expertly Dyed

I've had several requests to do videos where I explain how my Babe wheel works, and just to see it in action. Well, I'm happy to oblige, and I hope you learn many things from this video series. I plan to use my Babe more often in future videos, just to give you an idea of how each wheel works (I also have a Kromski Minstrel), their quirks, and how the resulting yarn looks.

In this video, I talk about the basic parts of the wheel and how to set it up for spinning.

If there's anything I missed, or I didn't have a good angle, let me know and I'll do a focus on that specific place. Keep in mind that I don't have a camera crew, so my abilities are somewhat limited (unless you want a shaky Blair Witch video) but I'll do my best.
