Decorating Tomato Cage Deco Mesh Lit Snowman

A DIY tutorial on how to decorate the snowman that was made with a turned upside down tomato cage and wire mesh. This cute and fun deco mesh snowman stands approximately 4 1/2 Ft tall, and has Christmas lights wrapping around the inner part of the tomato cage to bring a bright twinkling effect to your snowman. The snowman head is a tree topper that can be bought at Walmart, Amazon, Hobby Lobby or most places that carry Christmas Decorations or you can make your own. This snowman tree topper in the video was made by hand and all materials were purchased at Hobby Lobby except the tomato cage, that was bought at the Home Depot. Here are the materials you will need to make this beautiful and adorable DIY tomato cage lit deco mesh snowman with a snowman head tree topper. These are the material you will need for the SNOWMAN BODY .(1) Tomato Cage (2). 2 Boxes of White 100 Mini Christmas Lights (3) Large Package of White Pipe Cleaners (4) Large Package of Silver Pipe Cleaners or silver wire (5) 3 or 6 Inch White Zip Ties (6) 19 Rolls of 10 inch White Wire Mesh with Sparkle Tinsel (7) 3 Large Glitter Christmas Ball Ornaments (7) Floral Branches (I used black balls and flocked white snow branches for his arms. 3 branches of the balls with 3 branches of the flocked for each arm (8) Buffalo Plaid Roll of Ribbon 2/3 inches wide. SNOWMAN HEAD: You can buy the tree topper head. I originally bought one at Wal-Mart. However, I ended up making one because I felt the snowman head topper was a little to small for the body of the snowman. Here is what I bought at Hobby Lobby for his head: (1) 1 Large 8 inch Styrofoam ball from the floral dept. (2) Stretchy white soft fabric from the sewing department to wrap around the Styrofoam ball (3) For the mouth 10 small rounded black buttons (4) for the eyes, 2 Medium sized black rounded buttons (5) For the nose 1 sheet of orange felt with 6 cotton balls for stuffing the nose (6) Blush for the cheeks (7) I bought the hat at Hobby Lobby already made. Here are the other materials you will need: (1) Scissors and or Rotary Cutter (2) Hot glue gun and glue sticks (3) clip for holding the mesh rolls.
