Hello everyone!
In this video I fixed the sloppy side stand on my 1994 Triump Tiger 900 and made the bike sit closer to an upright position while parked. It's a known problem on these with excessive leaning - the aluminium bracket twists over time. I didn't want to touch that rigt now so I went for the easier option - straighten the side stand a bit.
I enlarged the worn Ø12mm bore to Ø14 to take a GB1212DU Glacier bush
3 drills were used: Ø13mm, Ø13.5mm & Ø13.8mm and then reamed to Ø14 H7. Please note - any drill over Ø13 needs to have the shank stepped to fit in a normal chuck.
