Fishing Clash Teams Series | Challenge Cup | Port Huron | Elimination Match 2 Highlights

Team O’Reilly Auto Parts rallied in Period 3 to take the lead. Ron Nelson and Martin Villa finished the day atop SCORETRACKER® with 64 pounds, 15 ounces on 37 scorable bass. Meanwhile, the fight to claim the second spot in the Knockout Round remained tight until lines out. Mark Davis and Gary Klein of Team B&W Trailer Hitches ultimately topped Brent Ehrler and Justin Lucas of Team Ferguson by less than one scorable bass. Team B&W totaled 51-3 on 29 scorable bass, while Team Ferguson came up one bite short with 24 scorable bass totaling 50-8. Team Smokey Mountain Caffeinated Pouches (Dean Rojas and Josh Bertrand) put up a good fight, finishing fourth with 38-10 on 23 scorable bass.

Challenge Cup action continues tomorrow with a new fleet of four teams hitting the water.
